We discovered how to make content “sticky” over 20 years ago, with our parent company, Extreme Meetings®. Our co-founder, Brian Walter, began providing customized infotainment to make meetings memorable.

He produced and delivered high-impact, engaging, and interactive experiences through skits, songs, game shows, exercises, graphics, videos (and more!) for companies like Starbucks, Genentech, Verizon, and Microsoft. It elevated their meetings’ messaging and made it stick.

During those corporate meetings, HR leaders and training VPs were also in attendance. They were so impressed with our impact and messaging ROI that they asked us to do the same thing for their training classes. The customized techniques that created sticky meetings created sticky training.

We built Sticky Training to focus exclusively on the needs of training teams and empower them to facilitate stickier, more engaging training themselves.

In 2013, Brian’s effectiveness in providing this type of impact was recognized by his induction into the Professional Speakers Hall of Fame.

  • Karen Walter

    Karen is the CEO and client relations “glue” for Sticky Training. (And that’s saying a lot for a team all about sticky content!) She is your first point of contact for discussing how to bring a Training Bitz™ Train-the-Trainer session (in-person or virtual) to your organization. She’s also your first point of contact if you’d like to explore the development of custom Training Bitz™ techniques for new or existing courses.

  • Brian Walter

    Training Bitz™ techniques were created by Brian Walter, CSP, CPAE. He is a Hall of Fame professional speaker, trainer, curriculum developer, award-winning multimedia producer, and internal communications consultant. Early in his training and consulting career, he searched for turn-key interactive techniques that could be fully customized. But they didn’t exist. So, he went out and produced them. 

  • Danielle McGurk

    Danielle is Sticky Training’s senior designer. She develops the Training Bitz™ visuals, as well as full training course slide decks, infographics, and motion graphics videos. Danielle and her team of designers can also create custom visuals for your programs that are fully brand compliant.
